Hi everyone!

I am planning to buy a dSLR (Pentax K20D, FYI), but I don't know yet what lenses to buy.

However, I have been using a Sony F717 for years now, so i have a large number of pics (about 8000).

Therefore, i'd like to extract the focal length data of all my pics, and process them into a graph, to know what focal length i use the most.

It would be nice if the results show something roughly like that :

38mm : 1000 pics

40mm : 750 pics

42mm : 1200 pics

44mm : 500 pics

etc...

I run MacOS X, and have ExifTool installed.

Thanks for your help!

There is an Exif Stats Utility listed in the Links section of the exiftool
home page that should do this (and should work on Mac OS X), but
the link doesn't work for me at the moment. - Phil
