ExifTool works fine on arm.  You probably already have Perl
installed, so just install the full exiftool distribution normally
following the Unix installation instructions.

You should be able to find Perl pre-compiled
for just about any platform. I even found a
version for my iPod Touch (which happens
to have an ARM processor, btw), and exiftool
runs fine on my iPod. But if you really need to
compile Perl, the place to go for assistance is
the Perl mailing list. - Phil
