Hi Everyone:

Having some issues with simple output. Not sure what I'm missing. Trying to output with -T but it doesn't display the tag names:

This is not a single output. How do I get the tabbed format for database insert with the tag names.

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Currently, the single line output is value only.  When you add the
tag names, newlines are inserted between the tags. I did it
this way because otherwise it would be too easy to get confused
between the tag names and the values.

I am planning an XML option for the next release, perhaps
this would help if you can read this format.
(see the "XML output option" thread for the gory details.)

Hi Phil:

Yes I saw the XML output thread. Its a little more than I really need. I did see that the output did have newlines between values however when trying to assign the result output to a variable it only captures the last line. Which is of no help. Thanks for the quick response.

OK.  Well there is are other options...  If you are running
the Perl version, you could write a simple script to output
in any format you want.  Or you pipe through a filter
to translate the newlines into something else (like
'sed' for instance).
