I have some starting problems with exiftool and the gui.
so far...
I downloaded the windows executable and the exiftoolgui.
no "exiftool(-k).exe" to be found in the zip. probably the file named "exiftool" without any extension is the executable. When I start the gui without renaming that file to exiftool.exe it gives an error.
After renaming i disappears. I can browse to a folder with imagefiles. There are details of thumbnails , but when i click on one of them there is an error: "list index out of bounds (0)" .
So there it stops.

When i try to run from the CMD box (DOSprompt) with this "exiftool -AllDates-=1 E:\Canon\105CANON"
I get: "Program to big to fit in memory".
Though there should be enough memery available.
So there it stops again...

The distrution file "exiftool-7.52.zip" contains only one file,
which is named "exiftool(-k).exe".    It sounds like somehow
you have the wrong distribution or your extracting isn'nt working.
In Windows XP, you can simply click on the ZIP file to open it,
then drag "exiftool(-k).exe" to your desktop.
