Hi

I am unable to write the rdf:about value in a pdf. It says the rdf:xmlns is not recognizable.

Can somebody help? This is urgent.

Hi Surendhar,

Try writing "XMP-rdf:About".

Hi Phil

I am still having problems. Pls bear with me as i am still a novice in this.

I am getting the follwing error

Code:
C:\>exiftool.pl -TagsFromFile d:\75458.xmp "-xmp-rdf:about" d:\75458.pdf
Warning: [minor] Can't handle XMP attribute 'rdf:xmlns' - d:/75458.pdf
    0 image files updated
    1 image files unchanged

Can you pls suggest any better ways.

Thanks for the patience.

Ah.

The problem is that the XMP was not written properly by
the originating software.  There may be other format problems,
but the "rdf:xmlns" should probably be "xmlns:rdf" in the
XMP itself.  This is the reason for the warning.  What wrote
the original XMP?  If you can post the original XMP, I can tell
you exactly what is wrong.

Dear Phil

Thanks, i managed to write the "rdf:About", but now i am having problems with "xmlns:pdfx" as exiftool doesnt list the valid tags under this namespace.
Code:
C:\>exiftool.pl -list -xmp-pdfx:all
Available xmp-pdfx tags:
  [empty list]
Can you help.

The pdfx namespace contains no pre-defined tags.  You must
use the https://exiftool.org/config.html" target="_blank">config
file to add user-defined tags for all tags you want to write
to the pdfx namespace.
