Can you help?

I scan film and wish to add the exif data for Photoshop "Camera Data 1".

I am unfamiliar with the use of terminal on OS X and have managed to follow examples for fields such as Make, Model, shutterspeed, aperture.

I cannot set originaldatetime as per instructions.

My command is exiftool -make=Hasselblad -model=503CW -ISO=100 -lens=250CFi -shutterspeedvalue=1/125 -aperturevalue=32 -ExifIFD:DateTimeOriginal='2002:04:23 - 17:17:30.30-05:00' desktop/020221.04.ima.tif

The error message is Invalid date/time (use YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM:SS[.SS][+/-HH:MM|Z]) in ExifIFD:DateTimeOriginal (PrintConvInv)

I also do not know how to identify files on different drives (internal and external) and folder names

e.g external drive name "Images 01" folder name "2008 B & W Images.

Many Thanks

Richard

Hi Richard,

Looks like you are doing well so far except for a few minor glitches.

What version of ExifTool are you using?  Version 7.71 doesn't give me
an error when I cut and paste the command you used.

You will find different drives in the "/Volumes" directory on your Mac.
(ie. "/Volumes/Images 01"/FILENAME").
