Hi,

This is probably a bug. When print in XML format with a date format, the tag for photoshop:DateCreated does not conform to the desired format.

exiftool -X -d "%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S" somefile.jpg

This prints the photoshop:DateCreated in the format %Y:%m:%d which is not the desired format.

Best regards,

Manuel.

This should work. I will look at this when
I get back from vacation. - Phil

The -d option currently works only on complete date/time values:

Code:
> exiftool a.jpg -xmp:datecreated="2009:05:04 08:41:00"
    1 image files updated

> exiftool a.jpg -xmp:datecreated -d %Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S
Date Created                    : 2009-05-04T08:41:00

> exiftool a.jpg -xmp:datecreated="2009:05:04"
    1 image files updated

> exiftool a.jpg -xmp:datecreated -d %Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S
Date Created                    : 2009:05:04

The second example didn't work because there was no HH:MM:SS.
