XMP iptcCore Tags

I trying to figure out how to add XMP iptcCore tags from commandline, when i try something like exiftool -iptcCore:creatorcity="myhometown" ./image.jpg

I get a error message: Tag 'creatorcity' does not exist.

Try "-xmp-iptccore:creatorcity=...".

I suspect you are using a really old version of exiftool, before
the IptcCore tags were added.
