Hello,

First off, thanks for an excellent tool! I use this all the time.

I'm getting errors when using this tool and my workflow on Win7 (both RTM and RC) and it works fine on the same source files and workflow under vista64. Are you aware of any win7 related errors or a way I can help debug this issue?

In case it matters, my workflow uses perl and the perl ExifTool libraries, currently v7.82. The images are copied to my hard drive, imported into adobe photoshop elements (PSE), then the people tags, ratings, etc. are written out using PSE. At that point my main perl script runs to see which files are the highest rated and creates a web site of the pics, with thumbnails and scaled down images. ImageMagick is used to resize the images, and ExifTool is used to make sure all downstream images have Exif tags for copyright, caption, etc. [which otherwise get stripped out]

Thanks for any help!

I don't even know what Win7 is, so I'm not aware of any Win7-specific
problems.  What version of Perl are you using?  Are there any Win7-specific
problems with this version of Perl?  Can you run the suite of tests included
in the full exiftool distribution?
