Feature req.: units for Canon distance tags
« on: June 21, 2010, 01:22:41 PM »
Hi Phil,

Is there a reason why (Canon) FocusDistanceUpper & FocusDistanceLower values don't have units (m -for meters)? I mean, right now, only plain number values are shown. I'm aware we can't be sure it's meters, but anyway...

Greetings,
Bogdan

Hi Bogdan,

That's the reason.  I'm not sure its metres.

I've looked into this and it is certainly possible that the values are in metres, so I will add the " m" in the next release.
