XMP editing in AVI

Hi,

I would like to edit XMP metadata in AVI files under Linux. The only tool I've found that can edit XMP in AVI is this metadata editor, which is a Win only program. I would like to know if this feature is planned for ExifTool, and when it's expected to become available.

I'm afraid that adding write support for video files is way down on my list of priorities, so it isn't likely to be implemented for quite some time.
