Read FotoStation custom field

Hi, i have a little problem with reading an custom field that has been written to the image via FotoStation.

On the command line i see the following:

Code Select Expand


Warning                         : Unrecognized IPTC record 240, subsequent records ignored

-Has this to do with the field that is written with FotoStation?
-Is it possible to read the info again?

There is a lot of non-standard information written in the IPTC of this image, some in the Application record, but much in the non-standard record 240.  If I modify exiftool to decode record 240 as the "FotoStation" record, I get the following:

I can't find any specification for what these FotoStation tags should be named.  Is this the information you want extracted?  If so, do you have any ideas about names for these tags?

Ah cool, this is a result, but I don´t know if the information I´m looking for is listed above

I´m just looking for a number, but I can´t remember the number that should belong to that image. I just send you an email again.
The attached image should contain the number 214. The field is called "Sonderfeld 01 / Custom field 01".

I see this information in the image you sent.  IPTC Application Record 112 has the value "0000214".  You can extract this with the -u option and the current version of ExifTool (the tag name is IPTC_ApplicationRecord_112).  With the next ExifTool release, you will also be able to extract the FotoStation record information with the -u option.
