Hi Phil,

First of all thanks for such a wonderful tool. It works just fantastic.

I was trying to add custom properties to jpg images. But they are saved internally as xmp and not visible when I try to see the properties of the pic from properties tab.

I was wondering if there is a way to add custom properties so that I can see it through the properties tab itself.

Thanks

Phil Harvey

I can't help here.  Maybe someone knows what properties are display in the (presumably Windows) properties tab?

If the properties tab can display it, ExifTool can write it.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for  your reply. Could you please help me add custom metadata to jpg using image::exiftool

The sample config file gives an example of how to create user-defined XMP tags.
