GUI does not know where ExifTool lives

I just bought a non-reporting lens for my DSLR and, although the lens seems very nice, I began to have some problems because there is no lens/focal length/aperture information in the exif data. When I asked about Exif editing tools one poster on another forum pointed me to ExifTools.

I downloaded the command-line version and was so pleased with what it would do (I was able to specify a lens name, aperture, focal length, etc) that I decided to try the GUI. I downloaded the GUI but, when I try to run it, I get a message telling me that it cannot find the Exif tool (ERROR: ExifTool not found!).

I assume that means that the GUI does not know where the Exif Tool exe is located on the disc. I looked through the readme that came with the GUI binary but all it said was to make sure the ExifTool binary was in the Windows folder. I have copied the binary to C:\Windows, C:\Windows\System and C:\Windows\System32 but none of these are apparently the right place because the GUI still cannot find the ExifTool exe file.

Can someone tell me where to copy the ExifTool binary? I am running on a 64 bit Windows 8 system. Or, failing that, is there a way to tell the GUI binary where the ExifTool.exe file is located?

Thank you.

UPDATE:

I changed the exiftool file name by removing the (-k) from the name and now the GUI can find it. Should have tried that before I posted here. Sorry for the trouble.
