Is it possible to populate PDF pagelabels to an existing PDF from within exiftool? I've been searching to no avail, hopefully I'm just looking in the wrong places...

The place to look is here.  Only tags listed as writable may be written from ExifTool.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
