Possible? HowTo make Canon specific exif-info available in .dng's for ACR/LR?

ExifTool 9.x semi-newbie. Windows 7-64. DPP 3.13.45. Acr 6.7. LR 4.4. Canon 5d2 and T3i (600D)

My understanding is that Canon has some proprietary EXIF info embedded in their .cr2 RAW files for non-standard info like

• If Long exposure noise reduction on/off
• If High ISO speed noise reduction on/off/strength?
• If Auto Lighting Optimizer enabled/disable
• Peripheral illumination correction enabled/disable
• others, depending on model

Many or most of the above don't seem to be available when Adobe's DngConverter generates .dng's from the .cr2's. Drat. Or perhaps I'm unaware on how to accomplish this?

If this Canon specific exif info is "lost" by DngConverter, is there a way for ExifTool to accomplish this, or equivalent? Some other utility? Could ExifTool do something like make Keywords out of this non-standard exif info? (that seems to be what MagicLantern's cr2hdr.exe does with DUAL_ISO, plus a file renaming option).

The DNG converter does save the maker note information you mention, at least for a 350D CR2 file that I converted:

At least ExifTool can read this.  Other utilities may not be able to.  Adobe does change the format of the information, which could be a problem for other utilities.

Edit: I just tested this with the 600D and DNG Converter 8.2, and it seems to work fine with these too.

I'll take a closer look at Bridge prefs. I thought I checked pretty closely, but didn't see the specific info I listed.

But what about thos specific modes I listed, especially related to NR? Do those exist with the 600D (which I also have ... nice camera)?

Or are those considered more advanced, and left off Rebels?

Yes, these are stored for the 600D (but you should have been able to see this yourself).

I used the command line
ExifTool MyOriginalCr2.cr2 -All >Cr2Info.txt
to see what was available from the original .cr2

Then I used the command line
ExifTool MyDngFromDngConverter.dng -All >DngInfo.txt
to see what was available from a .dng that was generated by DngConverter from a .cr2

and both had the information I was specifically interested in (especially if Long Exposure NR was on/off).

The source of my confusion / error is that Adobe's Bridge doesn't seem to make those specific Exif fields visible.

Within Bridge + Edit + Preferences + Metadata, they aren't in the list of Metadata that can be check-boxed to appear for a selected image. I mistakenly inferred that the information wasn't in the .dng.
