copy one field to another field

Hello all

I'm new to this forum, and I thank the author of ExifTool for its really excelent software  :D

I have a question:

I want to copy the value of field "-iptc:SpecialInstructions" in the "-xmp:PersonInImage" field

I can not find the syntax

how to do ?

exiftool "-xmp:personinimage<iptc:specialinstructions" FILE

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
