Hi,

I have a question about setting geodata with exiftool. 1) I have a GPX file (time = UTC time) and 2) I have a camera where timezone and time is UTC time. (gps tracker and camera are having the same time)
I thought that thas was a clever trick: there will be no problem with the time when both are in the same timezone having the same time.
But alas, I had to reset the -alldates with +2 hours (the computer timezone) before I could properly run the -geotag option.

Why?

Hi Hans,

I think that reading the Geotime explanation on the Geotagging page should answer this question (specifically, the second paragraph).  If not, let me know.
