the issue of xpcomment and usercomment

what's the difference between xpcomment and usercomment.

on win7,right click a JPG and open "properties" -> "detail" window,edit the  comment,
then this comment tag called xpcomment or usercomment?

it displayed complex on win7 and winxp.

I believe that the XPComment is a tag created by Microsoft, along with the other XP tags (XPAuthor, XPSubject, etc).  I'm not sure where the UserComment originates, but my Nikon camera allows me to add that after I take a picture, though it's not really worth taking the time to do so.
