Error: Writing of MTS files is not yet supported

The list of supported formats seems to include MTS.

I am using the most current version of ExifTool and I am using GUI.

Is there a workaround?

I click on WORKSPACE and try to edit DateTimeOriginal and I get this error.

Any assistance?

This is my first attempt with ExifTools so please be gentle

MTS files do not support any standard metadata, so it would be pointless for me to add write ability for this format.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
