A list of useful Exiftool command lines
« on: September 30, 2015, 01:03:16 PM »

I'm fairly new to this but I'm really appreciating the power of exiftool.  I've barely scratched the surface of understanding how to use this tool but its clear that the potential is enormous.

To that end, it would be great if there was a resource that listed the different exif tool command lines that people think are useful.  I've seen some complex stuff and I'd love to hear how the experienced users utilize this tool.

Does this resource already exist somewhere? If not, lets start a list here.

Thanks in advance!

There are a number of examples in the application documentation.
