Name files from MOV/MP4 CreationDate

What is the exiftool command that will rename a quicktime MOV or and MP4 file based on the CreationDate tag.  Not the CreateDate tag (which is offset by the iPhone by the UTC.

See FAQ 2 for determining the tag name, then this page for help renaming the file.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
