Maybe I missed something, but how do you guys get the fields like CountryCode, State, City, etc. filled if you have Lat/Long?

At the moment I am still using ACDSee for this but would like to automate that in some way.

Is there a way doing this via exiftool or at least command line based in a batch?

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

I use Geosetter as mentioned in that thread and highly recommend it.  Another program that gets mentioned is Geotag.  I haven't tried it so I can't offer an opinion on it.  It also uses exiftool to write data.

As for a command line based batch, nothing that I know of offhand.  But it isn't too hard to script using something like CUrl and Google Maps API.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output
