Is there a designated field to record an "aesthetic value"?  Any recommendations?

I can't think of anything off hand.

What kind of data are you planing on saving?  Strings, lists?  Can you give an example?

Odds are you'll have to repurpose some other tag.

It would be a relative score in a % between 0% to 100%. The higher the % the greater the aesthetic value. Hope that helps..

Would that conflict if a "Star Rating" is applied as well?

So what is the environment for this?  Just your own personal images or are you dealing with images from a variety of sources?  Are you using a management program such as Lightroom?  If you are, do you need to be able to see the tag in that program?
