Change save location of original files

Is it possible to alter the location of the original "backup" files that are created during execution to an external drive?

No.  This would defeat the purpose, which is to leave the original file untouched.  It is only renamed.  Moving it would risk data loss.

Good point.  I check my originals against the edits with an image duplicate finder to make sure (and I doubt Exiftool would do this) that the images weren't damaged.  I'm running up on some space issues.
