Hi all,

Is it possible to execute inside a Script Exiftool -X picture.jpg or Exiftool -X -L picture.jpg based in CodedCharacterSet ? That is if CodedCharacterSet=UTF-8 execute  Exiftool -X picture.jpg and if  CodedCharacterSet ="" execute Exiftool -X -L picture.jpg ?

Thanks

No, but you can do two commands:

1. exiftool -if "$codedcharacterset eq 'UTF-8'" -X picture.jpg

2. exiftool -if "not $codedcharacterset" -X -L picture.jpg

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
