Thanks for this.  I've added a link from the ExifTool home page.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

The link for this page has changed :
https://orchisere.fr/logiciels/html/exiftool.htm
(or search for exiftool tuto ) (french only)

I've added a pop-up that says I've made available in February 2025 a little software to help beginners build their exiftool commands.
Try this version, still under development, if you're interested. I change version every week or so.
I hope to be able to add many functions to this software (I'm not a developer) and if possible provide an English version.
Chatgpt is getting a bit confused to offer me an error-free lang.fr and lang.en ...

Phil, may I use "CCExiftool" as a name for this software ?

Le lien pour cette page a changé :
https://orchisere.fr/logiciels/html/exiftool.htm

"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

Allow me to promote ExifToolGui V6. I think V6 has an interesting option, it has a few translations, including French.

(Feedback on the translation is very welcome)
