Hello,
It is possible to extract the GPS data stream from the MOV video file?
The MOV file would generated by a Transcend TS16GDP230M DrivePro 230 Dashcam.
In the Transcend toolbox displays the route history in Google Maps.

I would like save the GPS data, e.g. in a nmea or gpx file format.

Does anyone have an idea how to do that?
Is that possible with exiftool?

Thank you

StarGeek

Try the command in this post.  You'll have to create the gpx.fmt file from here or downloading the main archive or downloading it from here.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

If ExifTool doesn't extract the GPS from this file using StarGeek's suggestion, send me a short video from a moving camera with known GPS coordinates and I'll see what I can do.  My email is philharvey66 at gmail.com
