Well, our little forum here was finally discovered by the spam-bots over the weekend.

I've manually cleaned things up the best I can and I have installed some new anti-spam software on the forum.  With any luck this will deter the spammers without causing problems for other forum users.

Well, there was another burst of spammers joining the forum today, so I've deleted most of the members who have joined today.  My apologies if you were deleted and you aren't a spam-bot.  If this is the case, please try re-registering.  New registrations will now require my approval.

Sorry for any inconvenience that these spammer scum have caused.

The spam-bot registrations continued with more than 60 users trying to register in the last 24 hours.  (The normal for this forum is 3 or 4 per day.)

I have rejected all of the registrations from the past 24 hours, and have upgraded the forum software to enable better anti-spam features when registering.

If you attempted to register in the last 24 hours, please try again.
