Startup Metadata View

Is there a way to get/save the Metadata selection for startup?

I do like the new version of the GUI Interface but I really miss the "Preferences/General" startup options, especially the ability to have the program open with the Metadata selection (in my case, Custom) open automatically like you could specify with version 4.27 etc.  (This is one reason I still keep 4.27 & 5.15 on my desktop.)

Bogdan did provide a Preference to "save file list Detail state on exit" - I wish this would apply to the Metadata selection, too.  Or, get the old Preferences/General options back.

Does anyone know of a way to get the Metadata selection (Exif/Xmp/Iptc/Maker/All/Custom) to stay selected - maybe in the .ini file?
