ExifTool and NEF Nikon D7100

Hello,

Would it be possible to upgrade ExifTool for NEF files from Nikon D7100?

I used routinely Nikon Transfer 1 for NEF Nikon D90. It worked. But obviously it does not work with the D7100 NEF recently bought and I lost my first 500 photographs ...

There are probably a lot of people who are now in the same situation as me.  So if you could do something, we would be very happy to test this new feature.

I assume you're talking about the fix_corrupted_nef utility.  Sure.  Email me samples of corrupted and uncorrupted NEF images for all compression settings (uncompressed, compressed, and lossless compressed) and I'll add this ability.    My email is philharvey66 at gmail.com

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
