Silly question

Hi, I'm having bad times with opensource publishing software: metadata TAGS are not well handled and documentation is poor.
I guess is a defensive strategy put in place by web publishers to avoid copyright and legal troubles, not exactly from php exif-read.
Nevertheless I would like to know which-is-which, so where I can find a metadata test file (i.e, xml) to be imported in a test jpg?
Of course carrying a huge or maybe complete list of exif-xmp-iptc populated TAGS :)

Thanks

I really don't understand the question, but I suspect that reading FAQ number 3 may shed some light.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
