Can the duplication settings be adjusted?

Hi, All--

I am looking to adjust the duplication options for Exiftool. I don't mind having the duplicates (of course), but the addition of "_original" to the end of my file names means the items are no longer ".tif" files, but instead become ".tif_original" files that require more intervention. Is there a way to adjust the duplication and renaming so it won't do this?

There are no options for changing how the backup files are named, but you can add the Overwrite_Original option to suppress their creation.
