Hello all,
I am a newbie from Norway, just want to introduce myself and say hello to all of you in here.

All of a sudden I experienced a disaster, came to the knowledge that all of my pictures, stored in my internal hard drive are corrupted.
Corrupted is maybe a wrong way to put it. All of the files have turned into unable to open. It`s over 1TB of pictures, and despite the fact that the file sizes are over 1MB each, I get this "entire file is binary zeros". Meaning that of my jpg files show the size as it should, no 0kb files, all jpg and png files are from 533kb and up to 4mb. Please help anyone.
Have anyone any idea about what this is, and is there anything I can do?

Thanks so much for any replies.

Kind regards,
Gjersoe

These are almost certainly irrevocably gone.

Try zipping some of the files up.  Image files are already highly compressed and a zipped version should be ±10% of the original file.  If they shrink down to ~90% of the original size, there's nothing that can be done.  The data is gone.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype
