I just want to inform you, that lenses EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 (without IS or USM -means: "basic" kit lens), always has ID number 45 -where doesn't matter if lens is very first release or mkII.

I hope I made myself clear on this... with other words: these two lenses have identical ID. Actually, this is to be expected, as AFAIK, nobody knows if there are any differences between those two lenses.

Well, I just wish you to know... Maybe you could update description with "... or MkII" -so nobody will ever ask :-)
