I have a surprising and original idea to solve the problem,
Install CHDK from here https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/CHDK
I guess it will help to display external video files like it displays TXT files,
Do you know if my hypothesis is correct?

Maybe someone else knows what you are talking about, but I don't.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

The only thing I've heard regard CHDK is that it can be used to see the shutter count on Canon cameras that don't include the data in an image... Or something like that. I don't have a Canon, so I didn't investigate further.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

I am absolutely shocked how great international experts like you don't yet know the wonders of CHDK, I highly recommend you take a look here https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/CHDK_1.6_User_Manual

And also on the main page https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/CHDK

It looks like something very special! [I just don't know if it solves my specific request]
