You yourself wrote earlier that for fields with the same values there should be the same names:

If tags have the same name, then the meaning should be the same.
Now about rounding. Do the values of these fields look rounded?
QuoteF Number: 5.6
AE Aperture: 5.7

Phil Harvey

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

IWTA

These values can be said to look rounded:
QuoteExposure Time: 1/800
AE Exposure Time: 1/744
And you can even say for sure that the value 1/744 is rounded to this value - 1/800.
But what value is rounded in case:
QuoteF Number: 5.6
AE Aperture: 5.7
Both of these values do not look rounded.

If you leave the tag names "Shutter Speed" and "Aperture" in the "Composite" section unchanged, this will only confuse.
You yourself wrote about this:
QuoteIf tags have the same name, then the meaning should be the same.

Phil Harvey

Nobody has suggested changing these until now, and changing them now could break many scripts/apps that rely on the current behaviour.

P.S. Try running the command again with the -n option to avoid any rounding by ExifTool
...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
