Hello Phil,

on your internet page that describes the XMP -> xmp-iptcExt tags https://exiftool.org/TagNames/XMP.html#iptcExt
we can click on https://exiftool.org/TagNames/XMP.html#LocationDetails and find a list of all locationDetails:

This list contains an element named GROUPS, which cannot be written.
I assume it is an error in this list.

Good catch, thanks!  This is just an error in the documentation.  I'll fix this in the next release.
