Ah, well. Maybe there is some confusion in wording and facts.

Currently sometimes I see "bottom, center" as output from exiftool. I was thinking this described AF-Point "I" in my way of describing the location in my first post here. I therefore thought you described the row "bottom" first and then the column "center".

Which point does it describe really?

For AFPointsInFocus, "Bottom, Center" indicates that both the "Bottom" and the "Center" AF points are in focus.  These names should correspond exactly to those used in AFPointSelected (although for AFPointSelected, it is only possible to select a single point).

This peculiarity is due to the weird way that the AF points are linked in the Pentax cameras.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

Ok,  I wasn't aware of the possibility that two points could be in focus at the same time and also hadn't yet looked up the documentation on the words. Now I know that "Bottom" really describes the middle point in the lower row.
