GUI2 Update-Question re Production Version before I upload GUI2 vers 8.0 to my w

Hi Phil,

I have a Big  update to GUI2(Windows 10) ready which makes it much simpler to update to a
new version of exiftool  plus many plus all get file menus are greatly improved.

My question is on page 2 of attached document relates to future Production versions of exiftool.

Hi Andy,

I don't understand the question.  If you renamed a file to "exiftool_1176.exe", then presumably that was version 11.76.  The next production version won't have the same version number as a previous version.

That clearly answers my question, I was of the mistaken view that a past version could become a production version.
