Hello everyone, first of all thanks the developer for this great tool.
I am trying to get the GPS metadata out of a video made with a video camera. On the one hand I have managed to extract the latitude and longitude. But not the altitude.

The camera model is Transcend's DrivePro 230 is a dashcam

On the other hand I have used the  -ee commands and also "-gps *" -G3: 1. But both give me the same result. I enclose the results of the command. On the other hand, note that in the video the watermark shows the latitude, longitude and altitude. Therefore, these data are stored by the camera. But I am not able to extract them.

I enclose the output of the metadata . Thank you very much in advance. Regards.

Hi Phil,
I already sent you an email. Thanks in advance.

Phil Harvey

I got the file.  ExifTool 12.01 doesn't extract any GPS from this file.  But you indicate that you can obtain latitude and longitude.  What version of ExifTool are you using?

Looking at the file you sent in more detail, it appears that there is no GPS data in the file.  Can you be sure to send one with valid GPS data?

Hi
I am using version 12.01 (I think the latest one).
On the other hand, I send you another video (with GPS data) with the same camera. Which if I extract everything. In the same email thread I attach it to you.
Regards.

I can see the altitude in this video.  There are also some numbers I don't recognize:  One ranges from 0.99 to 1.27, and the other ranges from 35.6 to 35.7 -- any idea what these are?

Hi

I can't find the data you indicate. But reading them as you indicate, I also have no idea what those values could be.
