Do you edit only ExifIFD:DateTimeOriginal date in Canon .cr3? Or also QuickTime:CreateDate? Or also QuickTime:ModifyDate and Track* dates?

exiftool -a -G1 -s -api QuickTimeUTC=1 -time:all 2020-1230-1504-13.cr3

Hi Matti,

ExifTool can write all of these.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

I rephrase my question: Is it necessary to edit only ExifIFD:DateTimeOriginal? Are you aware of any app that pays attention to those .cr3 QuickTime date tags? Local time for QuickTime:CreateDate instead UTC here, right?

Maybe somebody else can answer this.  I don't know much about other apps.
