I need to add vignetting coefficients to a colour camera image. How do I do that?

greybeard

Which camera (make and model) and which type of image?

lucproc

It is a custom camera, part of a surveillance system and uses a Sony IMX342 sensor. Not sure what type of image - does CFA_TYPE_BAYER_RG or PIXEL_FORMAT_PACKED_12_BIT make sense?

I believe nearly all the vignetting type tags only exist in the camera specific Makernotes, with only a couple non-standard tags in EXIF that are specific to Sony ARW files.

MakerNotes tags cannot be created, only edited if they already exist. There isn't a standard place to put such data that can be read by programs such as LightRoom.
"It didn't work" isn't helpful. What was the exact command used and the output.
Read FAQ #3 and use that cmd
Please use the Code button for exiftool output

Please include your OS/Exiftool version/filetype

ok thanks, yes the vignetting tags don't exist so I guess I'm limited by the camera type.
