April 2025 issue has an article on ExifTool in the "best new open source software on the planet" section.

It is interesting to see their lag time -- they've reviewed version 13.11 (Jan 1, 2025) for their April 2025 edition.  :P

Also interesting: It is in the "new open source software" section, with ExifTool being over 21 years old now.  :)  But OK, the magazine is 25 years old, so I guess it's all relative.  :P

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
