Hello to the forum and many, many thanks for this great tool! :-)
I'm using  ExifTool 8.33 on Windows 7 64bit in conjunction with Geosetter with the original jpeg-files out of one of my cameras (Pentax K-x) I get the following error message:
C:\Users\ram\AppData\Roaming\GeoSetter\tools\exiftool.exe  -@ "C:\Users\ram\AppData\Local\Temp\et0192B1F8.arg" -common_args "O:\100934_Autodosen_Aug10\Auswahl01\Autodosen_PENTAX_2656_00.jpg"

If I edit the original Pentax-file with an editor (like ACDSee or Photoshop) I don't get an error message.
Thanks in advance!

Are you sure this is a JPEG image straight from the K-x?  This problem didn't exist with the K-x 1.0 firmware.  Be sure you just copied the image directly from the memory card and didn't use any software to transfer the image for you.

It would be unfortunate if Pentax introduced this bug in their K-x 1.1 firmware (which you are running).

Sorry yes you are right I'm using Downloader Pro to download my pictures and to do the first step of geo-tagging, but so far I have this problem only with the Pentax-Files and not with my Canon and Panasonic-Cameras.

Phil Harvey

Right.  I suggest using a more reliable geotagger.  The images from different makes present different challenges when rewriting, and it is very common for things like this to happen (unless your geotagger uses exiftool, which many do).
