DPX Support

Is it possible for DPX (format used in film scanning) support to be added to ExifTool?  The format itself is well-defined (ANSI/SMPTE 268M-1994) - the standard itself is paywalled, but drafts and implementations of metadata extraction are available freely.

Edit:  Nevermind, I found some samples
...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).

ExifTool 9.38 (just released) supports reading metadata from DPX images.
