Exiftool freezes and causes out of memory on this ppt file (ubuntu 16.04).

Excellent, thanks!  I can reproduce this problem.  ExifTool 10.48 will fix this bug.

...where DIR is the name of a directory/folder containing the images.  On Mac/Linux/PowerShell, use single quotes (') instead of double quotes (") around arguments containing a dollar sign ($).
