The install notes are straight forward but the tool was not running for me on Windows 10 Pro. Doh! Need to disable McAfee virus scanner in order to get it to run. You may want to consider adding that step to ExifTool for Dummies :)

I was trying to run on Windows 10 Pro with no luck. No error appeared at command line. And GUI flashed quickly and closed when I tried exiftool(-k). Amid old posts about unknown issues and others have intermittent success running the tool I was off track for a bit before thinking to disable virus scanner.

Posting in case this helps a Newbie like me.

Thanks for making this tool available.
